The YMCAs are positioned to serve their communities before, during, and after a storm. However, to accomplish this service our Ys need to be prepared.
The Florida YMCAs have designed a toolkit for CEO's & Emergency Preparedness Staff to prepare their Y's for hurricane season. The toolkit includes a rapid response flow chart, personal and family preparation, facility preparation, communication protocols, recovery checklist, and external resources.
