The Florida Changemakers Summit is a global leadership development experience that positions the next generation as leaders within intergenerational social impact. Ranging from breakout sessions to the popular Squad Games, Changemakers get to immerse themselves in a multi-dimensional learning environment. The Summit unites youth, teens, volunteers, and professionals from the YMCA movement to continue the pursuit of a sustainable and just world. The cohort-based journey includes exploration and learning, community-building, and innovative experiences. 

Learning and exploration gives young people the tools to discover their passions, build confidence, and unlock new opportunities. By encouraging curiosity and creativity, they help youth grow into resilient leaders ready to shape their future and their communities as Changemakers. Community-building helps young people form meaningful connections, celebrate authenticity, and work together toward shared goals. It fosters belonging, teamwork, and mutual support—empowering Changemakers to create stronger, more resilient communities. Innovative experiences inspire young people to think creatively, take risks, and discover new ways of solving challenges. They open doors to imagination and possibility, empowering Changemakers to shape fresh ideas that can transform their future and communities.

The Changemakers Summit has four desired outcomes:

• Changemakers learn and develop global leadership skills through immersive experiences connected to sustainable development goals.
• Changemakers understand and demonstrate futuristic-thinking through collective exploration of signals of change.
• Changemakers plan and strategize on how to innovate and create YMCA programs that drive global, social change.
• Changemakers build and maintain relationships and networks to continue Changemakers efforts in building a sustainable and just world.
